Village Events

The Church is active within the village community with many Church members taking a leading role in village organisations and events. Concerts are held in the Church from time to time. The Spring Lunch and the Harvest Supper are popular, well attended events that include many village residents who attend Church infrequently, if at all.

The annual Fete and Dog Show is the main fund raising event for the Church and is an established part of the communal life of the village as a whole with helpers and contributors drawn from throughout the village community. The Dog Show is a unique feature of the event, appealing to dog lovers from the wider surrounding area, and includes classes for pets and children’s dogs.

Events are planned months in advance but if you would like to find out more about what's planned or wish to help out email alderminster@stourdene.org
